Not Synced Error - Chia mining error

    
    Can't get synced? Keep in mind that it can take a day to get 100% synced. So if you have already been waiting a day and cannot sync still , no problem. Follow these steps to get back on track. If you are running into the not synced error first make sure your chia is up to date. If this is done, go to your main page and connect to peers manually. 

Gui Connect to Peers - Not Synced

    Go to full node menu, scroll to the bottom. Click connect to peers...  Then enter

ip addresss / host : Node.chia.net

port : 8444

that's it now wait... Wait a 10 minutes, if you don't see "syncing" then you're still not running. If you're still not running then i would add it via the chia commands via terminal.

Bigger then Dodge coin?

     Bigger than bitcoin? Only time can tell. My personal opinion is that is that chia will surpass Bitcoin one day. Or will crash and have very  little value.  So what is this new age cryptocurrency all your friends are talking about? Chia Coin is a new green crypto in the works since 2018.  How is  it green? Its new method of proof of space, instead of proof of work, utilizes far less energy than Bitcoin. This is also different then proof of stake such as Etherum and some others.  A dumb down version of proof of space works by setting up "plots" like a farm on storage space such as an external SSD in seemingly random order. You then mine those plots to win yourself a some chia coin. Mining chia coin is easy for any one with novice computer skills.

    Before getting started it is important to remember that external SDD is going to have a shelf life. So don't go buying any SSD's. NVME's are faster and will last longer. But in turn, one day mining chia can fry your storage so choose wisely. 

    What else should i know before i start chia mining for coins? You are not  guaranteed  to win any rewards, it works like a lottery system. I've also had problems syncing at times with my internet provider. Will you have any bottlenecks of your own? Only one way to find out!
